On 12^th July, 11 excited children arrived at St George’s College, Weybridge to attend the Surrey School Games. Having won at Betchworth, we were representing Dorking District in the finals.  During the morning there were opportunities to try out different activities such as fencing, dodgeball, basketball, lawn bowls and cheerleading.  By the start of the competition, the sun was blazing on the astroturf but the team performed brilliantly, showing great skill both in chipping and putting and exceptional teamwork.  An anxious wait for the results ….announced from 10^th ….and once again Surrey Hills were crowned champions!  An outstanding result – well done to the team (and to Barnaby for his brilliant support).
