The School Day
Our Reception class children (age 4-5) and Years 1, 2 and 3 are taught at one of our two sites at Westcott or at Abinger Common in the original village schools. Once the children reach Year 4 (age 8-9) until they leave at the end of Year 6 (age 10-11), they will be based at our new school building on the Westcott site.
As part of the school travel plan, a bus transports children from Abinger Common to Westcott in the mornings and back again at the end of the afternoon. To facilitate these arrangements, the school day timings are staggered.
