School Council
The School Council is made up of twelve children who meet monthly, to work towards improving the children's playtime activities, resources and supporting a chosen local charity. The School Council enables our children's views to be heard and it has been very effective in providing initiatives for the benefit of all.
A new committee of members is elected each September, with two children representing each class.
Some of the projects/initiatives the School Council council have supported and been involved in over the last few years include:
- Christmas gift shoeboxes for the elderly
- Music Assembly
- Raising money for their chosen charity Sight for Surrey, including a visit to their resource centre
- Governor Thank You tea party
- Share a Pencil Day
- Jeans for Genes Day
