Sports Results 2020-21

With the pandemic all sports fixtures have been postponed but this has given us the opportunity as a school to focus on internal competitions and personal best competitions, where all the children take part and improve their fitness and performance. PE and keeping active has been an important part of the recovery curriculum with a strong focus on the importance of keeping active and healthy.

Cross Country

All children have had the chance to take part and improve their fitness and performance in athletics and cross country. In athletics they have been working towards pentathlon awards with a number of children already achieving gold and bronze. We have also been running a school cross country competition with children practicing in their active breaks with teachers and then competing against each other as a school. Certificates and house points have been given to all children who came in the top 5 places at Surrey Hills in the races and for the most improved child in each class. A cup is awarded each half term to the class who compete the most laps of the track.
